Look At Me!

Parker learned to roll over last Thursday and let me say he has not slowed down since. He rolls every chance he gets (including in bed), he's pivoting on his belly and trying to scoot forward to get to toys. It's really fun to watch him figure things out. Everyones sleep has been disrupted due to this new development though. Hopefully that will pass soon.

Look what I can do!

Parker pivoted around to check out Copper's feet. It was quite funny and Copper didn't seem to mind at all.

Parker's 1st Thanksgiving

We had a fun but quite busy Thanksgiving this year. On Thanksgiving day we drove to Fairmont (NC) to spend the day with the Griffin side of the family (that's Wally's mom's side). Parker got to meet some cousins he hadn't met before and spend some quality time with his Great Grandmother and Great Aunt and Uncles. He enjoyed the snuggling and entertainment. After some good eating and the traditional game of football we headed back home. We then celebrated with my family. All my sisters and hubby's were here. My sister Susie also brought their dogs. They had a lot of fun with my parents dog Jack. On Saturday night we had our traditional oyster roast to celebrate my dad's birthday which was the 26th. It was a lot of fun and some good eatin' too. We ended the weekend with Parker getting baptised. It was very special and we were thankful so much family could be there to support him. My camera wasn't the one taking the pictures so when I get those I will post them too.

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Parker's first trip on an airplane

Parker went on his first trip on an airplane a week ago to Ohio. We had a little down time in the airport so we put a blanket down so he could play. On the plane he was a little restless going there because it was bed time and he was more interested in what was going on then going to bed. He literally fell asleep within minutes of deboarding the plane. On the way back he slept the first half and then played the rest of the way. All in all he did well. And for anyone looking for a cheap flight check out skybus.com. It only goes to select cities but worth it to check it out. It was a surprisingly good airline especially for the price we paid. It's perfect for visiting Kel and Nash in Ohio for all you guys who need to go up and pay them a visit too.

When there is nothing else to do you can always eat on your fingers!

So You Think You Can Dance!

Kelly, her dad, Julie, and I went to see the So You Think You Can Dance Tour in Cincinnati one night while we were visiting. We had awesome seats right near the stage and after the show we were able to meet all the dancers. We were also able to get pictures of all but one of the dancers and their autographs as well. We had a great time. Thanks Pappa Stone and Julie for a wonderful time and such great seats. It was a night to remember. Can't wait to do it again:)

We visit Ohio!

What a fun time we had during our visit to Ohio! We were there 4 days and boy did it go by too fast. We had a great time playing with the kids and enjoying some of the fun things in Ohio that we don't have down here. We went to an indoor park full of slides, tunnels, and a ball pit one day. And yes we ALL got to play. They took us to the Great Wolf Lodge for breakfast which was delicious and we all enjoyed playing games at Dave and Buster's. I've put some pictures below to show some of the fun we had. Make sure to click on the picture to the right to see some more. We can't wait to go back again. Thanks for a great time guys!

Look how big we all are!
Me and Will going down a slide at an indoor park. It was pretty fast!
Wanted 2 cool kids!
Parker enjoying some time with Nash
Wally was quite determined to beat this game once Kelly had titled it impossible. He had to get the golf ball on the tee. It was tricky but he was determined.

Everyone pitched in when it was time for Parker to take a bath. Ella helped with his legs and feet while Will patiently waited to help wash his hair. We all got wet but we had a great time!

We all had fun outside on Saturday night roasting hotdogs and making smores. The kids had fun playing in the leaves. There is no telling how many times Nash raked up a large pile for them to play in. What a great daddy! At the end of the evening we enjoyed singing songs together, of course Ella was the leader. She picked some great songs I might add.

UMMMM! Yummy Smores!

Fun at Dave and Buster's on a cold day!
Parker's first attempt at driving a race car. It went pretty good. We came in 2nd every time.
Kel and Wally had fun aiming at the targets. Some were to shoot water back at you, however neither of them got sprayed. Too bad that would have been pretty funny.
Ella strikes it big. Will pulled the lever to get the game started while Ella was in charge of pushing the stop button to see how many tickets she could win. She hit 80 the 1st time and 1000 (yes 1000) the 2nd time. Vegas anyone?

Happy Halloween!

We had a great time this year on Halloween. Parker was a red hot chilli pepper. A cute one I might say. Thanks Nadia (B.) for the adorable costume. Wally and I also dressed up. I was the cat in the hat and Wally was a skeleton pirate. We had our traditional spooky set-up too. Wally and Ryan (our neighbor) spent the day setting up spooky Halloween decorations around the yard. They had a graveyard, a coffin (one Wally spent some time in scaring kids), a large pumpkin, tons of skeletons -some on the ground and some floating in the air, and tons of smoke from fog machines. It was a lot of fun. We had tons of trick r treaters. Several friends came over and we all passed out candy to the kids while snacking on yummy food we each had made. Two of Parker's girls came over (Zoey - the bear and Caroline - the cow, in the video below). For all three it was their first Halloween. It was nice they got to all spend it together. We can't wait to do it again next year!

Happy Halloween

Our Trip To VA

A week ago, Wally, Parker, and I took a trip up to see Parker's Aunt Susie and Uncle Scott. We finally got to see their new house, which is gorgeous, and it was the first time Parker got to meet his Uncle Scott. They hit it right off :) We had a weekend full of fun. We spent some time playing around the house with Parker and their dogs (Maverick and James). They were great with Parker. We later went to Cox Farms where we picked out our pumpkins and spent a lot of time playing. They had large slides that went through hay bales and some that we needed potato sacks to go down. We took turns racing each other which was alot of fun. We also went on a rope swing and dropped into a large foam pit. We picked fresh apples and had fresh apple cidar. It's amazing how good fresh really is. Parker was quite a trooper. He had fun on a hayride, watching us all be kids on the slides and of course playing in the pumpkin patch. That night Susie made a great Mexican meal and we all hung out and played pool. The next day we had a great time carving our pumkins. We hated to leave but we are looking forward to seeing them again soon for the holidays.

Playing with Aunt Susie

Parker was having a blast playing with his Aunt Susie. Sorry the video is sideways. I can't correct it but I thought it was too cute not to share.

Parker's 1st Pair Of Boots

Thanks Aunt Cindy for Parker's John Deere boots. He loves them! They definitely came in handy when riding the tractor with Wally in Virginia.
