Olympics 2024?

Parker learned how to kick a ball from his Gigi at his birthday party and hasn't stopped since. He loves kicking balls around the yard whether it is a beachball, this blowup basketball or a playground ball he doesn't care. It is really funny to watch him keep going around the yard. He got a little distracted as you will see as Ryan and Beth's dogs came to the fence to see what we were doing. It may look alarming at the end of the video with Copper bolting but I assure you no children were harmed in the making of this movie (Copper ran around Parker).

Ummm Yummy Corn

This boy loves some corn on the cob! We have to keep it off of everyone's plate at dinnertime so he will eat other foods first. Then we can all have corn. When he's done watch out because he's coming after your corn! I guess he and Will have something in common already.

Our Chatterbox

Parker learned to say cheese last week so we decided to catch a video of him talking and saying a few of his favorites. He says cracker too which is even funnier but we haven't gotten that on video yet. Don't worry, no clues are in the video to help you with the poll either. Just a sweet voice.

Fun with Water

Parker is always eager to go outside and even more eager to get his hands in some water. You will see soon just how much he loves his water table and making a mess.

Parker says " My parents never give me anything to drink even when I put on that big smile. Therefore I must drink from my water table too." Mommy says"Yuck".

Yeah! Aunt Bubba!

Yeah!!! She did it!
This weekend my youngest sister Vicki (aka Bubba) graduated from PT school at Chapel Hill. She completed her masters degree and is going to stay on and complete her doctorate in PT while working as a therapist hopefully at a pediatric clinic or with an ortho. clinic that sees dancers. She has one she is eyeing and we hope it works out for her. We are so proud of her.
It was a great ceremony on Saturday. The best was that right before she got ready to cross the stage it got quiet and then Parker said "bubba" really loud. She heard him up there and several people (besides us) got quite a chuckle out of it. What a perfect moment. After the ceremony we went back to her place to celebrate with a great cake before heading off to dinner. We ate at a wonderful Greek restaurant in Apex. Definitely recommend that if you haven't tried it before. We also stopped by her boyfriends new wine store that he opened a few weeks ago. It is a beautiful store with quite a collection of wines. We enjoyed taste testing a few while Parker enjoyed riding around on a tricycle. Eric had all the bases covered that's for sure.

Parker clapping for his Aunt Bubba. He's so proud of her!

The sisters!

What a big boy at the restaurant with his straw.

The whole crew (minus Poppy because he's taking the picture)

Fun in the pool

Wally got Parker this cool float for the pool for his birthday. It has a remote and yes it is motorized (slow of course). What else would you expect from the man with many toys. Parker loved the remote. We can take it off to control it too. We should get quite a lot of use out of it too because our pools at the gym are open year round. YEAH!!!

Random pictures

Just a few cute pictures of Parker I took during mealtime. He was hamming it up!

Look at all those teeth

This is our newest thing. He's been doing it a little over a week. This is his "where is it" look. The other day he even got a ball stuck it under the couch and then looked at me and Nana like this as if "where did it go?" It was pretty funny.

Just being silly
