Snow Day!!!

Well here are some shots from the snow we got last week. It was crazy we go to Florida one week, come bak on Sunday and it stinkin snows here on Tuesday. Don't get me wrong we enjoyed every minute of it but it was a big weather change for us. We ended up getting 3 inches here and it was around for about 2 days. Then oh yes it was 60 degrees 2 days later. Don't you just love our weather.

Here's a site you don't see much, our house covered in snow.

It was quite fun finding the clothes to bundle Parker in so he could go outside. We really don't have snow gear for him cause, well it never snows here. He didn't seem to mind all the layers though. It poured with snow that afternoon and early evening so it was a lot of fun to get to play in it while it was still snowing.

Even in the snow, the boy wants his lawn mower.

Parker thought it was funny how when he walked through the snow his shoes were covered in it. He has recently really grasped what the word mess means so when his shoes would get covered in the snow he would say "mess?". We can't tell you how many times we'd say no it's just the snow. Funny from a kid who loves to play in the dirt and get messy.

The dogs getting frisky in the snow and playing fetch.
They LOVE the snow. Parker thought it was hillarious to throw snowballs to the dogs because they will jump up and catch them in their mouths to eat them.

Florida here we come!

Well Wally, Parker, Wally's parents and I went to Florida for the week and boy did we enjoy ourselves. We stayed at a resort (Sheraton Vistana Villages) in Orlando and lets just say they did a great job of making you feel like you were in the tropics. It was quite different for us to be able to go swimming in January. Not to mention coming back to having it snow here at home 2 days after we got back (you'll see picks of that soon). Well we all drove together in, as Ella calls it, "the Wally bus". Parker did great thanks to a DVD player and some good videos.
CURIOUS GEORGE GOES TO FLORIDA!

Hey buddy it's a long trip, do you want some water?

Parker watching the fuel tankers and big macs drive outside his window of the hotel we stayed at on the way down.

Nana and Granddad swinging Parker as they walked around the
lakes at the resort.

Parker's absolute favorite, seeing and feeding the ducks! They had ducks in the lakes at the resort which were right outside our place. He loved going out on our porch and watching them but his favorite was for Granddad to take him down to them. He talked about these ducks as soon as he woke up. Now every body of water he sees he immediaetly says "wawa, ducks".

Nana and Parker feeding the ducks. Parker is clapping because they ate his bread.

Weee daddy, this is fun!

Splash fountains in the pools at the resorts. They had big waterfalls too.
The pools alone were breath taking.

Mommy and Parker swimming together.

Parker goofing around at the condo.

"Come on guys, where are we going next?"
Parker decided to pull the big cooler around the condo (of course he had his new horse with him as well - you'll see from where in a minute). He thought he was big stuff!

Arabian Nights

One night we all went to the Arabian Nights dinner show. It is a show with about 20 - 30 horses that we watch in a large arena while eating dinner. They did tricks on and with the horses and Parker even got to pet a few of them at the end. It was a great show and the horses were absolutely gorgeous!

This was Parker throughout the entire 1 hour and 15 minute show. He was mesmerized by all the things the horses were doing. We definitely heard about "neigh neighs" for quite some time after this show.

Yes that dude is doing a handstand on a moving horse. Later in the show he did a back flip on the horse while moving as well as a backflip from one horse to another horse also while they were moving. Crazy huh?

Disney World!!!

Boy did we have a blast at Disney! We went to Hollywood studios where Parker's favorite was definitely the HUGE Honey I Shrunk The Kids Playland and this cool stunt show we saw. We went to Sea World 2 days. The shows were great and animals were simply beautiful. Wally and I got to ride on their roller coaster - Kracken. A must for anyone who goes. And of course we made it to Magic Kingdom. Parker went on his first ride there. And lets just say-he loved it. I have to say I was very pleased and surprised at how much an 18 month old can do and ride there. We were there from 9-8. Man were we wore out. However the lighted parade at night was well worth it. Disney definitly out did themselves. We got a chance to try out Disney Quest as well (a different day of course). It's their 5 story indoor arcade and virtual video games (came with our ticket). It was pretty cool. We got to design our own roller coaster and then take our card to a simulator and ride our own coaster. And yes, we did the flips. We all had a wonderful time. You forget just how fun Disney World is. It was great fun for all of us and especially fun getting to watch Parker enjoying so much of it. And talking about it too. That was the funniest part. We probably heard about ducks, "neigh neighs", Dumbo (by way of the elephant sound), fish and sharks at least a gazzilion times. Hope you enjoy the pictures!

My Silly Boys

Parker enjoyed his ranch so much that after he finished his cucumbers he decided to lick his plate clean. This pic is for you Aunt Susie! Ranch or blueberry face?
The boys love each other so much they chose to share a bed.
Notice the other bed right beside them. Silly boys!

The Pig!

Well, Wally and Parker have their special guys spot that they often go to when I am out and about. I was "allowed" to join them over the holidays and boy did we pig out. Their special spot is "The Pig". It's the deli inside the Piggly Wiggly in Richlands and they usually go for breakfast. You see Parker can eat you under the table in eggs and grits and this is the place to get them. You better watch your plate though because if you have some left when Parker is done with his, he is coming for yours.

Man this is good!

Spoon is not quite fast enough!
