GEORGE!

Parker loves his Curious George he got from his Aunt Susie and Uncle Scott for Christmas. As you know he went on our Florida adventure with us and he is now frequently toted around the house to various play spots. Well when Parker takes a nap and goes to bed we typically put George to rest in Parkers Thomas the train. Well Monday Parker had different plans and really wanted George to join him for his nap. I was watching on the monitor because I wanted a picture of course. It was really cute Parker usually puts his blanket on his back and tucks up but on the monitor I could see that he did it with George. I decided to wait 5 more minutes so I didn;t wake him up (definitely not worth that) and well of course by that time Parker had switched positions and George was off his back. He has since asked for George to sleep with him in the crib for naps and nighttime. So sweet! Thanks again guys. He really loves his pal!

Fun at the gym!

Parker has become quite the racquetball fan. He saw a few guys playing raquetball when I took him into the nursery several months ago and ever since then when we pull up to the gym he repeatedly says racquetball til he sees the courts and then continues til he's off in the nursery. Well a few weeks ago a nice man let Parker play with his racquetball while we were waiting for Daddy and Uncle Nick to finish their game. After the man saw how much Parker enjoyed the ball and watching the game he went into his bag and pulled out 5 different colored racketballs for Parker to have. He was quite excited. Isn't it nice to know there are still some genuinely nice people out there these days. We now take Parker into the courts with his balls and a few rackets after we've worked out. He absolutely loves it.
Here are some picks of him trying to hit the balls.

Happy Valentine's Day!

We hope everyone had a happy Valentine's Day!!!

Parker's first hair cut!!!

Yes it is official Parker has had his first hair cut. It olny took 18 months to grow long enough to need a cut. Ms. Felicia cut his hair at the salon where I go and she really did a great job. Parker wasn't too sure about jumping in a chair in this unfamilar place at first but it was nothing a pacy and a cool dog/cat smock couldn't fix. He let her cut his hair as well as use the electirc clippers. I wasn't too sure at what he'd think about the clippers but he didn't seem to mind.

Before

Parker being a good boy and letting her cut his hair

After! How handsome!

Fun at Monkey Joe's

A few weeks ago Wally and I took Parker to Monkey Joe's in Wilmington. It is a large building full of blow up slides and bounce houses. We met friends Tricia and Frank there with their kids Cooper and Bentley and boy did those kids have fun. Parker loved climbing up a blow up alligator and trying to walk down his back without falling and he LOVED the slides. We put a video at the bottom of him going down one of the slides and you'll see by the smile on the his face how much he liked it.

Parker loves slides! Enjoy!
