Happy Halloween!

We had a great time this year on Halloween. Parker was a red hot chilli pepper. A cute one I might say. Thanks Nadia (B.) for the adorable costume. Wally and I also dressed up. I was the cat in the hat and Wally was a skeleton pirate. We had our traditional spooky set-up too. Wally and Ryan (our neighbor) spent the day setting up spooky Halloween decorations around the yard. They had a graveyard, a coffin (one Wally spent some time in scaring kids), a large pumpkin, tons of skeletons -some on the ground and some floating in the air, and tons of smoke from fog machines. It was a lot of fun. We had tons of trick r treaters. Several friends came over and we all passed out candy to the kids while snacking on yummy food we each had made. Two of Parker's girls came over (Zoey - the bear and Caroline - the cow, in the video below). For all three it was their first Halloween. It was nice they got to all spend it together. We can't wait to do it again next year!

Our Trip To VA

A week ago, Wally, Parker, and I took a trip up to see Parker's Aunt Susie and Uncle Scott. We finally got to see their new house, which is gorgeous, and it was the first time Parker got to meet his Uncle Scott. They hit it right off :) We had a weekend full of fun. We spent some time playing around the house with Parker and their dogs (Maverick and James). They were great with Parker. We later went to Cox Farms where we picked out our pumpkins and spent a lot of time playing. They had large slides that went through hay bales and some that we needed potato sacks to go down. We took turns racing each other which was alot of fun. We also went on a rope swing and dropped into a large foam pit. We picked fresh apples and had fresh apple cidar. It's amazing how good fresh really is. Parker was quite a trooper. He had fun on a hayride, watching us all be kids on the slides and of course playing in the pumpkin patch. That night Susie made a great Mexican meal and we all hung out and played pool. The next day we had a great time carving our pumkins. We hated to leave but we are looking forward to seeing them again soon for the holidays.

Playing with Aunt Susie

Parker was having a blast playing with his Aunt Susie. Sorry the video is sideways. I can't correct it but I thought it was too cute not to share.

Parker's 1st Pair Of Boots

Thanks Aunt Cindy for Parker's John Deere boots. He loves them! They definitely came in handy when riding the tractor with Wally in Virginia.
