Our visit to Greenville

This past weekend we traveled to Greenville to see our friends Chris and Alison and their adorable munchkin Davis. We got to catch up while the boys played and then Parker got to see some special things of theirs (like their lawn mower which is top on Parker's list these days, and their bike). Alison was sweet enough to take Parker for a spin on the bike too. Lets just say he didn't want to get off. As you'll see below Davis is as adorable as they come. He was definitely mesmerized by Parker though he said a few things himself. It was especially cute when they talked to each other. If only we knew what they said. Hope to see you guys again soon!!! And Chris thanks for sharing your birthday with us!

Ain't he just CUTE!!!

Happy Halloween!

We took a trip to the pumpkin patch and Nana and Granddad joined us. Parker really liked picking up the pumpkins. He even tried to lift a few big ones. Granddad bought Parker his very own BIG pumpkin which Parker helped clean out.

Here are a few of our Halloween pics. We had a great time. Wally and Ryan decorated the yard with a graveyard, skeletons, and other creepy stuff along with bats flying overhead and fog to make it extra spooky. We had a good turn out of trick or treaters and Parker got his first taste of going to a few doors. We look forward to next year.

Ohio Trip

Two weeks ago Parker and I ventured to Ohio. Yes I flew with Parker, by myself, on 2planes there and two back. Parker actually did wonderful on the planes and God bless the airports that have play areas. We were jam packed with fun things to do while we were there from the aquarium, to the children's museum , to just playing at the YMCA. Oh and let's not forget Kel and I's attendance at our annual tour of SO You Think You Can Dance with her dad and Julie. Don't worry there are only a few of our pics. below. Thanks to Nash and his dad who watched the kids and put them to bed while we went to the show. What a great dad you are Nash. Don't you think you could handle one more Dreyer around that household? Well the Dreyer's had a great surprise for Parker too. Since they weren't able to attend his birthday party they had a special one for him while we were up there. They gave him some great books and then we celebrated with some yummy pudding. It was quite sweet. We all got to carve pumpkins together while we were there too which Parker had never done before. We were sad to go but hopefully we will see them again soon! Thanks guys for such a wonderful time!!!

Parker and I go to V.A.

Parker and I took a trip up to see Aunt Susie and Uncle Scott in northern Virginia, for a long weekend. We had alot of fun and alot of new experiences. Parker loved chasing their cats and trying to pet them. They weren't to fond of the chasing. He also loved their fish (check the video below). While there we took a trip to the National Zoo in D.C. It was Parker's first time at the zoo. He liked looking at all the animals and really thought the Tamarins were funny. We drove through D.C. and saw lots of monuments and even the White House. On Sunday we went to Cox Farm's which we visited last year with them. It's basically an old farm turned into a big playland. They have slides, hayrides, a corn maze, places to pet and feed goats, milk cows etc. Parker really enjoyed all the slides this year, feeding and petting the goats, and boy did he like the tractors. I think he could've sat on it for an hour playing with the steering wheel and gadgets. They have fresh apples and fresh apple cider too which is delicious. We had a great time just hanging out at their house as well. They are lucky, they have a playground about 3 houses away. We only wish we had more time or (they) lived closer.

Parker and the fish!

Aunt Susie and Uncle Scott have fish in their office. Everytime Parker would come out of his or my room while we stayed there he would make the fish sound and head to the office to see them. It was pretty silly.
