Happy Anniversary Poppy and GiGi!

They are celebrating 35 years today!
We love you!

Happy Easter!

We hope everyone had a wonderful Easter. We had a great day. We woke up to Easter baskets full of different kinds of goodies and then headed off to church. Later that afternoon we went over to Poppy and GiGi's for Easter dinner. Aunt Kerry and Uncle Nick came over too. Parker got to play on a new playset that Poppy got for him. He could climb up a small ladder to a platform where he could practice driving and then go down a slide on the other side. It also had a swing that he liked. He had a great time on it. It was a great day that we were blessed to be able to enjoy with family. We wish everyone could have been there but we will hopefully get to see the rest of the gang soon.

HAPPY ST. PATRICK"S DAY!!!

What's he up to now?

Well here are a few things that Parker is doing now. A few weeks ago we started water babies with Parker. We go once a week for a half an hour. It's a lot of fun and Parker seems to be enjoying it too. He is taking the class with his gal pal Bentley. Here's a picture of them waiting for their class to start.

Climbing and walking, climbing and walking. That is Parker's other main objective during the day. Climbing on whatever he can find and walking of course pushing a toy, along the couch or holding your hands. No first steps yet but we'll keep you posted. I've tried to limit the climbing but you can see I either miss a spot or I'm just not fast enough. Below is Parker crawling through our coffee table. We've moved it out of the living room but not quite to the garage yet(it has a glass top). Parker however found it this morning and tried to climb in it.
You can tell he knows he's been caught.
Walking with his tonka truck and taking his pup along for the ride. He could do this forever if you just give him a knudge to help make turns.
Wait am I supposed to be up here?
(We put his truck on the fire place to get it out of the way while cleaning the floors. I guess he was ready to play with it.)

Getting into stuff!

Parker had a gift come in the mail from his friends Jake and Jenna. He loved his new soft blanket he got but as you can see he also loved playing with the package.

My First Teeth!

About two days before we left for our trip to Massanutten, Parker had his two bottom teeth break through. You can click the picture to see them better. He did pretty good while they were coming through too. He was waking up a few times at night so we gave him tylenol at night for a few nights because I thought I could see a tooth. Then a few days later two popped through. We think we see one trying to come in on the top now too.

Vacation at Massanutten

Well we are back from our vacation at Massanutten resort in McGaheysville, VA and boy did we have fun. Friends Kelly and Nash with their kids Ella and Will met us up there. We had a great condo that we could see the slopes right out our window. It was great because we could walk right to the slopes and begin playing. We first though spent our time playing at the indoor waterpark there. It was full of slides, spraying water hoses, a lazy river, big bucket of water that fills and dumps overhead, kids play pools and Wally's favorite - the flow rider. You'll have to check out the video of Wally on the flow rider below. We all had a blast. Parker loved these buckets that were on bungees that he could sit in. It was perfect to keep him in the water and he could splash. He liked for us to bounce him and swing him in them too. Will also liked them because he could bounce himself in them. Kelly and I went back at night while the guys watched the kids and had some fun of our own. We went on enclosed tube slides that actually went outside the park. It was dark and you never knew what was going to happen. One lady even sent us down backwards. YIKES! Us and the kids went back a few more times. It was definetly a lot of fun.

One of my favorite pics! While we were waiting to watch Wally on the flow rider, Ella started to play this little piggy with Parker. So sweet.

When it was time for the slopes we took turns so everyone got a chance to go out. Wally and I hit the slopes in the morning while Kel and Nash kept Parker. Then we all met up at the lodge to switch. Wally, Nash and Kelly stayed and taught Ella how to ski while Parker, Will and I went to the park. Everyone had a great time. Nash, Ella and I also went tubing. It was Ella's first time and boy did she like it. Nash and Ella were connected and took turns at who was in front. We had a fun time racing each other. We each won a few times. Unfortunately the night before Kelly and Will came down with a stomach virus so they couldn't go with us. It didn't end with them either. We each slowly got picked off ending with me. I got it the night we got home. Luckily it was at the end of our trip when it started and we had all experienced most everything there. We were just wanting to do things again.

We had a blast and can't wait til our next vacation together!!!

Wally on the Flow Rider at Massanutten

This was Wally's first attempt on the flow rider. He said it was pretty easy to stay on and in one spot but tricks were harder. We thought he did a great job. He went back at night and tried the board you use for standing up. He had a lot of fun! We all enjoyed watching him as well as all the other people trying to give it a shot.

My Crooning Pup!

For Valentine's Day Parker's Gigi and Poppy gave him this puppy that is a puppet and when you move his mouth he sings. It's hysterical because he has a crooning voice and sings Close To You. He loves it.
