Yes it is official Parker has had his first hair cut. It olny took 18 months to grow long enough to need a cut. Ms. Felicia cut his hair at the salon where I go and she really did a great job. Parker wasn't too sure about jumping in a chair in this unfamilar place at first but it was nothing a pacy and a cool dog/cat smock couldn't fix. He let her cut his hair as well as use the electirc clippers. I wasn't too sure at what he'd think about the clippers but he didn't seem to mind.

Yeah for haircuts!!! That's awesome that he was good for the trim. Davis did well with cuts #1-#5, but #6, which happened 2 weeks ago, was a bit dicey...and it ended up that we told her to get the back cleaned up, and be done, and mommy would finish up the rest at home in a more "familiar" environment. It was nothing less than traumatic by the end, so we had to call it quits. Nonetheless, I think I shaped up the front pretty good for having no skills at all in cutting hair. We think next time we'll let him sit on one of the animals to get his hair cut...it's a little "kids haircut area" that we by-passed on thinking he'd do fine just sitting in the chair like he had been before. We are pretty sure that he's so scared of anyone coming near his head or ears because thus far, in his life, it's all been painful or scary for him.

Parker has gorgeous blue eyes! He was so good! Nate’s first haircut is something no one wants to remember in our house! With time he is now an angel!!!
