Memorial Day

Well, we had a great memorial weekend. Wally was in a fishing tournament Saturday and Sunday (check out our new link Kokonutz Fishing Team, Wally set it up) so Parker and I spent time with family who came in town and played in the pool. On Monday we took the boat out and docked on an island to play and cookout with neighbors(and friends) Ryan, Beth (with Peyton :) ) and Chase as well as friends Lindsey and Jason. It was a beuatiful day though it became a little windy. We took our flat bottom boat so we could get everyone up close to the island. Parker liked the boat ride and watching all the boats and birds go by. We use a bean bag to make for a smoother ride for Parker not to mention it is a quite comfy seat. I also decided to use it to sit Parker in to eat his lunch. You'll see below he looked pretty pampered in there since he was also covered by an umbrella and getting his food brought to him. What a life that kid has. Parker had fun in the sand and exploring the small waves that came up on the shore. He had to be stopped from crawling in to far though. His favorite was probably walking in the water holding on to the boat (of course).

Parker conked out on the ride back in. He was exhausted!
Thanks Tricia for the cool new shark towel. It came in quite handy.

Like father, like son, hanging onto that boat and loving the water. I'm surprised "boat" wasn't his first word. Don't you just love those bucket hats on little boys! They look so adorable in them. Loved the video. Miss you guys alot! See you soon!
